10×10 and 12×12 are the standard classroom charts and fit one page comfortably. 15×15 and 20×20 are denser and work better as reference sheets than as wall posters.
Black and white. The grid uses borders rather than colour to separate cells, so it stays perfectly readable on a mono printer.
Print the full grid and let them trace the single row they are working on, or choose a smaller size and shade the row — the table is a reference, not a test.
